Surge in Active Put Options for Reliance Industries: 20,839 Contracts at 1380 Strike Price

Reliance Industries Ltd has emerged as one of the most active stocks in the options market today, particularly in the put options segment. The company, a key player in the Oil Exploration and Refineries industry, has seen significant trading activity in its put options expiring on May 29, 2025.

Other strike prices, including 1350, 1300, and 1360, also demonstrated substantial trading volumes, contributing to a total open interest of 30,028 contracts across various strike prices.

On the performance front, Reliance Industries has shown resilience, trading above its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages. The stock reached an intraday high of Rs 1,423.80, reflecting a 3.38% increase. However, investor participation has seen a decline, with delivery volumes dropping by 5.15% compared to the 5-day average.

Overall, Reliance Industries continues to maintain a strong market position, with a market capitalization of Rs 19,22,287.21 crore, while the oil exploration sector has gained by 3.01%.
