Scoobee Day Garments Reports Strong Sales Growth Amidst Financial Challenges

Scoobee Day Garments India has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a notable improvement in its performance metrics for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported its highest net sales at Rs 21.70 crore, alongside a peak PBDIT of Rs 3.39 crore. Additionally, the profit before tax, excluding other income, reached Rs 1.97 crore, while the profit after tax stood at Rs 1.49 crore, resulting in an earnings per share of Rs 1.10. Despite these positive indicators, the company faces challenges, particularly with its return on capital employed (ROCE), which is currently at a low of 3.16%. Furthermore, the debtors turnover ratio is also concerning, recorded at just 7.18 times. In terms of market performance, Scoobee Garments has shown resilience, with a stock return of 33.59% over the past year, significantly outperforming the Sensex, which returned 9.07% in the same period. However, the year-to-date performance indicates a decline of 21.76%, contrasting with the Sensex's gain of 3.60%. Over the long term, the company has experienced substantial growth, with a remarkable 3,638.57% return over the past decade, compared to the Sensex's 189.55%. This highlights the company's potential amidst its current challenges.
