Silgo Retail Reports Strong Financial Performance Amid Retail Sector Challenges

Silgo Retail has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a notable improvement in its performance metrics for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported its highest net sales at Rs 16.53 crore, alongside a peak PBDIT of Rs 2.57 crore. Additionally, the profit before tax, excluding other income, reached Rs 2.40 crore, while the profit after tax stood at Rs 1.74 crore. The earnings per share also hit a record high of Rs 0.94.
This positive financial performance is underscored by the company's stock price, which has shown resilience, closing at Rs 54.34, up from a previous close of Rs 51.76. Over the past year, Silgo Retail has outperformed the Sensex, with a stock return of 44.14% compared to the Sensex's 10.14%. The company has also demonstrated strong returns over shorter periods, including a 17.82% return over the past month.
