SKF India has reported significant improvements in its financial performance for the quarter ending March 2025, achieving record quarterly PBDIT and a strong operating profit margin. However, challenges remain with a low debtors turnover ratio. The company's stock has shown resilience, outperforming the Sensex over various timeframes.
SKF India has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a notable improvement in its performance metrics for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported its highest quarterly PBDIT at Rs 284.54 crore, alongside an impressive operating profit to net sales ratio of 23.45%. Additionally, the profit before tax (PBT) less other income reached Rs 263.15 crore, and the profit after tax (PAT) was recorded at Rs 203.28 crore, with earnings per share (EPS) hitting Rs 41.12.

However, not all aspects of the company's financial health are favorable. The debtors turnover ratio for the half-year is at its lowest, recorded at 5.80 times, indicating potential challenges in managing receivables.

In terms of market performance, SKF India has shown resilience with a stock price of Rs 4,561.20, up from a previous close of Rs 4,334.75. Over the past week, the stock has returned 15.80%, significantly outperforming the Sensex, which returned 3.62% in the same period. Over the last month, SKF India has also outpaced the Sensex, with a return of 17.06% compared to the index's 6.86%. Despite a decline over the past year, the company has demonstrated strong returns over longer periods, particularly in the last five and ten years, highlighting its recovery trajectory in the industrial products sector.
