Surana Telecom Faces Operational Challenges Amidst Mixed Financial Performance Trends

Surana Telecom and Power has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a flat performance for the quarter ending September 2025. The company's score has seen a decline, indicating challenges in certain operational areas.
On a positive note, Surana Telecom reported a higher profit after tax (PAT) for the nine-month period, reaching Rs 22.72 crore, alongside its highest quarterly net sales of Rs 9.37 crore. However, the company faces significant hurdles, including a sharp decline in quarterly PAT, which fell to Rs 0.76 crore, marking a decrease of 66.1%. Additionally, the operating cash flow for the year is at its lowest, recorded at Rs 3.50 crore, and the debtors turnover ratio stands at a low 2.64 times. The non-operating income has also become a concern, constituting 425.58% of profit before tax, while earnings per share for the quarter have dropped to Rs 0.06.

In terms of market performance, Surana Telecom's stock has shown a negative return over various periods compared to the Sensex, particularly in the year-to-date and one-month comparisons. However, the company has demonstrated substantial growth over the longer term, with impressive returns over three, five, and ten years. This contrast highlights the need for Surana Telecom to address its current operational challenges while leveraging its historical performance.
