Suzlon Energy Reports Record Financial Metrics Amid Rising Interest Expenses

Suzlon Energy has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting a significant improvement in its performance metrics for the quarter ending September 2025. The company reported its highest net sales at Rs 3,870.78 crore, alongside a peak in PBDIT at Rs 720.84 crore. Profit before tax, excluding other income, also reached a record Rs 535.95 crore, while the profit after tax stood at Rs 1,279.44 crore, resulting in an earnings per share of Rs 0.93. Despite these strong financial indicators, the company faces challenges, particularly with interest expenses, which have risen to Rs 212.73 crore, marking a growth of 37.91% over the last six months. In terms of market performance, Suzlon Energy has shown resilience compared to the Sensex. Over the past week, the stock returned 6.19%, while the Sensex declined by 1.32%. In the last month, the stock outperformed the index with a return of 9.62% against the Sensex's 2.84%. However, year-to-date figures indicate a decline of 4.03% for Suzlon, contrasting with the Sensex's gain of 6.88%. Over a three-year period, the stock has surged by 631.86%, significantly outpacing the Sensex's 37.02% return. This performance highlights the company's strong recovery trajectory in the heavy electrical equipment sector.
