Symphony Faces Financial Challenges Amid Declining Sales and Profit Metrics

Symphony, a midcap player in the Electronics & Appliances sector, has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment reflecting challenges in its performance metrics. The company reported a significant decline in net sales for the quarter ending June 2025, with figures reaching Rs 251.00 crore, marking a drop of 24.6% compared to the previous four-quarter average. This downturn is mirrored in other key performance indicators, including a 62.9% decrease in profit before tax (PBT), which stood at Rs 24.00 crore, and a 41.6% fall in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 37.80 crore.
Despite these setbacks, Symphony achieved a notable return on capital employed (ROCE) of 34.33%, indicating effective capital utilization in certain areas. However, the operating profit to net sales ratio fell to its lowest at 10.36%, highlighting operational inefficiencies.
