Surge in Open Interest for Voltas Signals Increased Market Activity Amid Price Decline

In terms of price performance, Voltas has faced challenges recently, with the stock declining by 1.98% today. It has been on a downward trend, losing 4.57% over the past two days. The stock reached an intraday low of Rs 1,200, marking a decrease of 2.92%. Currently, Voltas is trading below its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, suggesting a bearish sentiment in the market.

The air conditioning sector overall has also seen a decline, with a 2.15% drop. Additionally, delivery volume has decreased by 20.98% compared to the 5-day average, indicating a reduction in investor participation.
