Colibri Resource Corp is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties. It has interests in precious metals and base metals properties in a region of Mexico that is populated with operating gold and polymetallic mines. It has four properties in its portfolio, encompassing over 9000 hectares. All projects are located in the state of Sonora, in northwestern Mexico. Its projects are EL Mezquite Project, Evelyn Project, Pilar Project and Pitaya Project. The El Mezquite Project is located within the west-central portion of the Sierra Madre Volcanic Complex, and there is no development or operations in this project. The Evelyn project is positioned within the Sonora gold belt approximately 35 kilometers south of La Choya mine. It holds 100% interest in the Pilar property, and is located in Mexico. The Pitaya project has targeted down-dip projections of high grade quartz veins and associated hematite-silica breccia zones that cuts sedimentary rocks.
