Why is S I Paper Mills falling/rising?

04-Dec-2025

As of 04-Dec, the stock price of South India Paper Mills Ltd is at 85.50, down 0.58% due to a significant drop in investor participation, with delivery volume falling 93.23% from the 5-day average. Despite some short-term gains, the stock's year-to-date and annual declines compared to the Sensex may be negatively impacting investor sentiment.

Despite the stock trading above its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, the sharp decrease in trading volume indicates a lack of interest from investors, contributing to the downward pressure on the stock price.

In terms of performance relative to the benchmark, the stock has shown mixed results over various periods. This longer-term underperformance compared to the Sensex, which has gained 9.12% year-to-date, may also be influencing current investor sentiment negatively. Overall, the combination of falling investor participation and historical performance trends appears to be driving the stock's current decline.
