HPCL Reports Strong Profit Growth Amid Mixed Financial Indicators in June 2025 Results

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, showcasing notable developments in its performance metrics. The evaluation changes reflect a significant upward adjustment in its score, moving to 19 from 9 over the past three months.
The financial results indicate a robust profit before tax less other income (PBT) of Rs 5,039.27 crore, marking a substantial growth compared to the previous four quarters' average of Rs 1,728.01 crore. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) reached Rs 4,110.93 crore, also demonstrating considerable growth against the prior average of Rs 1,683.93 crore. Operating profit has peaked at Rs 7,571.95 crore, the highest in the last five quarters, with an operating profit margin of 6.83%, reflecting enhanced efficiency.

However, the financials also highlight some challenges. Cash and cash equivalents have reached a low of Rs 253.80 crore, indicating a decline in short-term liquidity. Additionally, the debtors turnover ratio has decreased to 39.44 times, suggesting a slower pace in settling debts.
