Kennametal India Reports Declining Profitability and Operational Challenges in March 2025 Results

Kennametal India has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing notable challenges within its operational metrics. The company's operating profit margin has reached its lowest point at 13.78%, reflecting a consistent decline over the past five quarters, indicating a shift in operational efficiency.
In terms of profitability, the profit before tax less other income (PBT) stands at Rs 28.30 crore, which marks a year-on-year decline of 16.76%. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) has also shown a downward trend, recorded at Rs 24.40 crore, down by 15.5% year-on-year. Furthermore, the operating profit (PBDIT) has fallen to Rs 39.90 crore, the lowest in the last five quarters, suggesting ongoing challenges in maintaining profitability.
