Max Estates has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showing a Profit After Tax of Rs 17.34 crore, a significant increase from previous quarters. However, the company faces challenges with a declining Profit Before Tax and rising interest expenses, raising concerns about its financial sustainability.
Max Estates, a midcap player in the realty sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The evaluation changes indicate a notable shift in the company's score, which has adjusted to 13 from 22 over the past three months.

The financial data reveals some positive aspects for Max Estates. The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stands at Rs 17.34 crore, reflecting a significant growth of 215% compared to the average PAT of Rs 5.51 crore from the previous four quarters. Additionally, net sales for the latest six months reached Rs 79.82 crore, marking a year-on-year growth of 47.32%. These figures suggest a favorable near-term trend in both profitability and sales.

Conversely, there are areas of concern. The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) has recorded a decline, reaching Rs -16.24 crore, which is the lowest in the last five quarters. Furthermore, the operating profit to interest ratio has fallen to 0.55 times, indicating challenges in managing interest payments. The interest expense has also risen to Rs 16.55 crore, the highest in five quarters, suggesting increased borrowing. Additionally, the reliance on non-operating income, which constitutes 176.32% of PBT, raises questions about the sustainability of the business model.
