Motilal Oswal Financial Services Reports Declining Sales and Profitability Challenges in March 2025 Results

Motilal Oswal Financial Services has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing significant challenges within its operations. The company's net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 1,190.26 crore, reflecting a notable decline compared to the same period last year. This marks the lowest sales figure recorded in the past five quarters, indicating a concerning trend in revenue generation.
Additionally, the profit before tax less other income (PBT) was reported at Rs -44.95 crore, which also represents the lowest level in the last five quarters. The profit after tax (PAT) further declined to Rs -64.77 crore, showcasing a substantial drop in profitability year-on-year. The operating profit, measured as PBDIT, reached Rs 279.76 crore, again the lowest in the last five quarters, suggesting a decrease in operational efficiency.
