The real estate sector emerged as a standout performer, with the REALTY index climbing by 1.72%. Godrej Properties was a key driver in this sector, achieving a notable gain of 2.74%. Similarly, the NIFTYREALTY and NIFTYPSUBANK indices both saw increases of 1.67%, with UCO Bank leading the NIFTYPSUBANK sector with a remarkable rise of 3.48%.

On the downside, the metal sector faced challenges, with the NIFTYMETAL index declining by 0.91%. Stallion India was a significant drag on the S&P BSE Commodities index, plummeting by 7.83%.
