Among individual stocks, Wockhardt emerged as a top gainer, surging by 17.23%, followed by Sammaan Capital and Redington, which rose by 12.04% and 10.26%, respectively. On the downside, Firstsource Solutions led the losses, dropping by 7.20%, with Jindal Stainless and Cochin Shipyard also facing declines of 5.85% and 4.99%. Overall, the market displayed mixed signals, with large-cap stocks showing resilience, particularly the Nifty Next 50, which gained 1.03%.
