In sector performance, only 8 out of 38 sectors managed to advance, with the NIFTY PSU BANK sector hitting a new 52-week high. The top gaining sector was NIFTYCPSE, which rose by 0.57%, while the REALTY sector faced the most significant decline, down 2.05%.

Among individual stocks, Zuari Industries led the small-cap gainers with a remarkable increase of 14.29%. In the mid-cap category, Kaynes Technology gained 3.30%, while Hindustan Unilever topped the large-cap gainers with a 2.10% rise. Conversely, Adani Power was the largest loser among large caps, falling by 6.93%, followed by Godrej Properties and Shankara Building Products, which saw declines of 3.36% and a staggering 76.19%, respectively.
