In the mid-cap segment, Kalyan Jewellers recorded a gain of 2.75%, while small-cap stocks saw a significant surge, with Oswal Green Tech leading the pack at 13.57%. Conversely, Dixon Technologies and Hitachi Energy were the largest losers among large and mid-cap stocks, declining by 2.18% and 3.26%, respectively. The small-cap sector faced a notable drop, with Man Industries plummeting by 13.48%.

Overall, the advance-decline ratio across the BSE500 was favorable, with 355 stocks advancing compared to 142 declining. Among sectors, the Metal sector stood out with a gain of 1.13%, while the Nifty Media sector experienced a slight decline of 0.60%.
