Shanghai Composite Falls 0.55% Amid 0.77 Advance-Decline Ratio; Risen Energy Soars 20%
The China Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.55% today, reflecting a broader market downturn with a 0.84% decline over the past week and a 3.07% drop in the last month. The advance-decline ratio stood at 0.77, with 2,744 stocks declining. Notably, large-cap Risen Energy Co. led gains at 20.02%, while ApicHope Pharmaceutical dropped 20%. Mid-cap HUANLEJIA Food Group rose by 19.98%, and small-cap Sunfly Intelligent Technology gained 20%. The advance-decline ratios indicated stronger performance among small-cap stocks at 1.12, compared to lower ratios for large and mid-caps.
