Varun Beverages and Torrent Power Lead Gains, Ashok Leyland and Emami Among Top Losers in Today's Stock Market

Out of the 38 sectors, 21 are advancing while 17 are declining. The top losing sector is NIFTYPSUBANK with a decrease of 0.66%, while the top gaining sector is BSE CD with a growth of 1.49%.
Investors are also keeping an eye on the upcoming result of Swiggy, which is scheduled to be announced on 3rd December 2024. The advance-decline ratio across BSE500 is at 1.22x, with 272 advances and 223 declines. SMLCAP Caps is rising by 0.51%, MIDCAP Caps by 0.27%, and BSE100 Caps is falling by 0.04%.
In terms of top gainers in the BSE500 category, Inox Wind is leading with an increase of 8.00%, followed by Torrent Power at 7.03% and Dixon Technologies at 5.55%. On the other hand, Aegis Logistics has seen a significant decline of 8.48%, making it the top loser in the BSE500 category. BASF India and Home First Finance have also experienced a decrease in their stock prices by 5.61% and 4.50% respectively.
Overall, the SENSEX is currently trading at 79,653.50 with a loss of 149.29 points, a decrease of 0.19%. Investors are advised to keep a close watch on the market and make informed decisions based on the performance of different sectors and companies.
