Kalyan Jewellers Sees Surge in Open Interest Amid Active Market Participation

Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd, a prominent player in the Gems, Jewellery, and Watches industry, has experienced a significant increase in open interest today. The latest open interest stands at 23,166 contracts, reflecting a rise of 2,328 contracts or 11.17% from the previous open interest of 20,838. The stock has been on a positive trajectory, gaining 7.18% over the last three days. Today, it reached an intraday high of Rs 593.6, representing a 4.08% increase. The weighted average price suggests that more volume was traded closer to the lower end of the price range.

Despite these gains, there has been a decline in delivery volume, which fell by 21.37% compared to the five-day average. The stock remains liquid, with a market cap of Rs 60,267.84 crore, allowing for a trade size of Rs 7.43 crore based on 2% of the five-day average traded value.
