Tamil Nadu Petro Products has reported strong financial performance for the quarter ending March 2025, with impressive metrics including a Debtors Turnover Ratio of 22.32 times and record highs in PBDIT and PAT. However, challenges persist, including a decline in PAT over nine months and low ROCE.
Tamil Nadu Petro Products has recently undergone a financial trend adjustment, reflecting notable changes in its performance metrics for the quarter ending March 2025. The company has reported a strong financial performance, highlighted by a significant increase in its score over the past three months.Key indicators show that the company is excelling in several areas. The Debtors Turnover Ratio stands at an impressive 22.32 times, indicating efficient management of receivables. Additionally, the company achieved its highest PBDIT at Rs 25.89 crore, with an operating profit to net sales ratio of 5.69%. Profit Before Tax (PBT) less Other Income reached Rs 17.89 crore, while Profit After Tax (PAT) also hit a record high of Rs 17.73 crore, translating to an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs 2.99.
However, challenges remain. The PAT for the nine-month period has seen a decline of 21.36%, and the Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) is at a low of 6.55%. Furthermore, cash and cash equivalents have dipped to Rs 372.83 crore.
In terms of market performance, Tamil Nadu Petro Products has shown resilience, with a one-week return of 7.92%, significantly outperforming the Sensex's 0.63%. Over the past month, the stock has returned 15.52%, compared to the Sensex's 10.40%. Despite some setbacks over longer periods, the company has demonstrated a robust return of 164.44% over the past five years, surpassing the Sensex's 156.80%.
