The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of gold properties in Colombia. Gran Colombia is an underground gold and silver producer in Colombia with several underground mines and over two processing plants in operation. It holds interest in underground gold and silver mining operation in Colombia, the Segovia operations and Zancudo project. Its Segovia operations consists of an area approximately 9,000 hectares in the Segovia-Remedios mining district of Antioquia. Its Zancudo project in the Titiribi mining district of Antioquia comprises a gold mine, the Independencia Mine, in the Middle Cauca Gold Belt.
