Are Amrutanjan Health Care Ltd latest results good or bad?

09-May-2026

Amrutanjan Health Care Ltd's latest Q4 FY26 results show strong revenue growth with net sales up 6.19% quarter-on-quarter, but profitability concerns arise as the PAT margin contracted significantly to 10.81%. Overall, while revenue performance is positive, the decline in margins raises caution about future profitability.

Amrutanjan Health Care Ltd's latest results for Q4 FY26 present a mixed picture. On the positive side, the company achieved a record net sales figure of ₹149.77 crores, reflecting a growth of 6.19% quarter-on-quarter and 10.60% year-on-year. This marks the seventh consecutive quarter of revenue expansion, indicating strong demand for its products, particularly in the pain relief segment.

However, profitability metrics reveal some concerns. The net profit for the quarter was ₹16.19 crores, which is a 6.67% increase from the previous quarter and a 6.65% increase year-on-year. Despite this growth, the profit after tax (PAT) margin contracted significantly to 10.81% from 13.79% in the previous quarter, suggesting pressure on profitability. This decline in margins is attributed to a normalization from an exceptionally strong December quarter.

Overall, while the revenue growth is commendable, the sharp contraction in margins raises questions about the sustainability of profitability in the face of competitive pressures. The stock has also underperformed the broader market, declining 20.54% over the past year compared to the Sensex's 3.74% fall, which reflects investor concerns about margin sustainability.

In summary, the results show strong revenue growth but highlight challenges in maintaining profitability, making the overall assessment somewhat cautious.
