Atex Resources Inc, formerly Colombia Crest Gold Corp, is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the exploration and evaluation of mineral properties. The Company is exploring for precious and base metals, with a focus on producing them from its mineral exploration properties. The Company is focused on exploring, developing and monetizing gold projects in Columbia. The Company holds approximately 50% interest in the Fredonia property. The Fredonia Project Area is located in the Cauca River Valley, between the Eastern and Western Cordillera of the Andes Mountains, northwestern Colombia. The Fredonia Project is located approximately 40 kilometers south of the city of Medellin, in Antioquia. The Fredonia property consists of approximately 15,000 hectares (150 square kilometers) of mineral title. The Fredonia area contains a sequence of upper tertiary andesitic volcanics and sediments. The Company is seeking new projects. The Company has not generated any revenues from its projects.
