Azucar Minerals Ltd, formerly Almadex Minerals Ltd, is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Canada, the United States and Mexico. The Company is an exploration stage company. The Company operates in one reportable operating segment, being the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties. It wholly owns the Tuligtic project in Puebla State, Mexico. The Tuligtic project covers the Ixtaca Gold-Silver Deposit, which is a precious metals deposit. The Ixtaca Deposit hosts a reserve of approximately one million ounces of Gold and approximately 78 million ounces of Silver. The Company has a subsidiary in the United States, namely Almadex Americas Inc.
