Are Baroda Extrusion Ltd latest results good or bad?

30-May-2026

Baroda Extrusion Ltd's latest results show strong revenue growth with Q4 FY26 net sales up 26.25% sequentially, but profitability is concerning, with a 83.49% year-on-year decline in net profit and ongoing balance sheet issues. Overall, while revenue growth is positive, the significant drop in profits and financial instability suggest mixed results.

Baroda Extrusion Ltd's latest results present a mixed picture. On one hand, the company achieved a significant sequential improvement in revenue, with Q4 FY26 net sales reaching ₹55.94 crores, marking a 26.25% increase from the previous quarter and a 21.98% rise year-on-year. This is the highest quarterly sales in the company's recent history, indicating strong operational momentum.

However, profitability metrics are concerning. The net profit for Q4 FY26 was ₹3.08 crores, which is a 45.28% increase quarter-on-quarter but a stark 83.49% decline compared to the same quarter last year, when the company reported an exceptionally high profit due to one-time gains. The operating margin has also contracted to 6.11%, down from 6.79% in the previous quarter, suggesting that while revenue is growing, the company is facing pressure on its margins, likely due to higher input costs or pricing pressures.

Additionally, Baroda Extrusion's balance sheet remains a critical concern, with negative shareholder funds indicating that liabilities exceed assets. Although there has been some improvement from the previous year, the financial position is still precarious.

In summary, while the revenue growth is a positive sign, the significant drop in profitability and ongoing balance sheet issues suggest that the overall results are not entirely favorable. Investors should weigh these factors carefully when considering the company's future potential.
