49 North Resources Inc. is a resource investment, financial, managerial and geological advisory company. The Company invests in a diversified portfolio of common shares and other securities of resource issuers, including, without limitation, resource issuers engaged in mineral or oil and gas exploration and development. The Company has four segments: Resource Investing, Geological Advisory, UK Brokerage and Extractive Industries. The Company provides managerial, administrative, property development and other advice and/or assistance to individuals and companies at the very early, start-up stages and/or in some cases acquiring a controlling interest in certain investee companies or direct interest in resource properties. The Company's subsidiaries include North Rim Exploration Ltd. (North Rim), Allstar Energy Limited (Allstar), Gespeg Copper Resources Inc. (Gespeg), Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd.
