The name of the Company was changed to 'The Boots Company (India) Limited' on November 1, 1971, thereafter to Boots Pharmaceuticals Limited on January 1, 1991. In October, 1995 the name was changed to Knoll Pharmaceuticals Limited, and in July 2002, it got changed to 'Abbott India Limited'.
