AgStar PLC is engaged in the business of importing, blending and marketing of fertilizer products. The Company's segments are Trading and Processing. The Trading segment includes items, which are directly imported and sold without further processing and are categorized under this. The Processing segment includes the items, which are further processed at the Company before sold. The Company offers a range of organic and chemical fertilizers in different quantities to be used in agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, home gardens and green houses. The Company owns a warehousing company, which provides warehousing services for group companies. It owns a land bank of approximately 750 perches in Kaduwela. The Company exports to the United States, European Union and the United Arab Emirates. Its subsidiaries include AgStar Seeds (Private) Limited, AgStar Cropcare (Private) Limited, AgStar Properties (Private) Limited, AgStar Exports (Private) Limited and Prith Seeds (Pvt) Limited.
