Altiplano Metals Inc, formerly Altiplano Minerals Ltd, is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company focuses on evaluating and acquiring projects with potential for advancement from discovery through to production, in Canada and abroad. The Company’s projects include the copper-gold projects called Farellon and Maria Luisa, as well as the Orogrande Gold-Silver Project. The Farellon and Maria Luisa projects are located near the town of La Serena, Republic of Chile. The Orogrande Gold-Silver Project is located in Idaho County, Idaho, the United States, near the head waters of the Crooked River within the Nez Perce National Forest, approximately 100 kilometers southeast of Grangeville, Idaho, the United States and approximately 15 kilometers southwest of Elk City, Idaho, the United States.
