Amerigo Resources Ltd. is principally engaged in the production of copper and molybdenum concentrates through its operating subsidiary Minera Valle Central S.A. (MVC), pursuant to a long-term contractual relationship with the El Teniente Division (DET) of Corporacion Nacional del Cobre de Chile (Codelco). The MVC operation is eight kilometers east of the city of Rancagua and 90 kilometers south of Santiago. MVC is involved in reprocessing tailings generated from the El Teniente mine.
