The Company provides carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction solutions for various industries and is active in two segments: Critical Materials and Engineering. The Critical Materials segment focuses on the production of specialty metals, alloys and high performance materials, including aluminum master alloys and powders, titanium alloys and coatings, chromium metal, ferrovanadium, antimony, tantalum, niobium, silicon metal and natural graphite. The Engineering segment operates vacuum heat treatment facilities and comprises the design and production of vacuum furnace systems, including vacuum remelting, solar silicon melting and crystallization, vacuum induction melting, vacuum heat treatment and high pressure gas quenching, turbine blade coating and sintering. The Company is present in Germany, the United States, Brazil and China, among others.
