AMW Capital Leasing and Finance PLC is engaged in granting lease facilities, hire purchase facilities, mortgage loans and acceptance of deposits. The Company operates through four segments: Finance Lease, Hire Purchase, Term Loans and Operating Lease. The Company's Finance Lease segment includes assets leased to customers, which transfer substantially all the risks and rewards associated with ownership other than legal title (absolute ownership). The Company's Hire Purchase segment includes assets hired to customers under Hire Purchase agreements, which transfer all the risks and rewards incidental to ownership, as well as the legal title at the end of such contractual period. The Company's Term Loans segment includes loans given to individual and institutional customers. The Company's Operating Lease segment includes leases where the lessor retains substantially all the risks and rewards of ownership over the leased term.
