Atico Mining Corporation is a Canada-based company engaged in copper-gold mining and related activities, including exploration, development, extraction and processing in Colombia, and the acquisition, exploration and development of copper and gold projects in Latin America. The Company, through Minera El Roble S.A. (MINER), has interests in the El Roble mining property (El Roble). El Roble is an operating copper-gold mine in Colombia. El Roble is an underground copper-gold-silver mine and processing plant, which is located in Choco, Colombia. The El Roble processing plant has a nominal capacity of approximately 800 tons per day. El Roble mine's commercial product is a copper concentrate with gold and silver by-product credits. Copper and gold mineralization at the El Roble property occurs in volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) lenses.
