Bowim SA is a Poland-based company primarily engaged in steel industry. The Company distributes carbon steel products through its own sales network in the wholesale and retail trade. The Company owns a network of nine distribution outlets in Poland. Bowim SA also provides production of reinforcement prefabricated units and guides for mining industry. Additionally, the Company provides transport services of goods purchased by contractors using its own fleet of trucks as well as courses and examinations in welding. As of December 31, 2011, Bowim SA operated through its subsidiaries, including 75%-owned Bowim Podkarpacie Sp. z o.o., 90%-owned Beststal Sp. z o.o., wholly owned Passat-Stal SA and Betstal Sp z o o.
