Consorcio Cementero del Sur SA is a Peru-based company engaged in the acquisition and management of shares issued by entities active in the production, distribution and sale of construction materials. Through its 92.65%-owned subsidiary Yura SA, the Company is engaged in the production, distribution and sale of cement blocks, ready-mixed concrete, aggregates, as well as other cement dry mixes, such as mortar and stucco. As of December 31, 2011, Holding Cementero del Peru SA was the Company’s majority shareholder with 79.89% of its interest.
