EFU General Insurance Limited is engaged in providing insurance services to commercial and individual clients. The Company operates through four segments: fire and property damage; marine, aviation and transport; motor, and miscellaneous. Its portfolio includes businesses ranging from simple residential property to large industrial risks, including oil and gas exploration/development, petrochemicals and other industrial risks. Marine, Aviation and Transport class of business provides coverage against loss and damage to goods in transit by means of conveyance, physical loss or damage to aircraft, ships and liabilities to third parties and passengers arising from their use. Motor insurance covers physical loss or damage to the vehicle and liabilities to third parties. All other insurances, including cash in hand, cash in transit, personal accident, infidelity, public liabilities, health, crop, livestock, travel and workers compensation are included under Miscellaneous Insurance cover.
