Eguana Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based company, which designs and manufactures power control solutions for grid interactive energy storage systems (ESS). The Company's integrated ESS consists of three components: the software controller/the energy management system (EMS), the battery and the advanced power controls. The Company develops and manufactures power inverters for the alternative and renewable energy industry-solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, small wind turbines, fuel cells and various forms of energy storage. The Company's power control solutions charge and discharge batteries, converting alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) to charge and converting DC to AC to discharge batteries in a bi-directional conversion process. Its products are also the point of connectivity to the ESS and provide regulatory control over the interconnection of the ESS to the power grid and the consumer.
