Emerita Resources Corp is a Canada-based precious metals and minerals exploration company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties with a primary focus on exploring in Spain and Brazil. The Company, along with its joint venture (JV) partner, Grupo Aldesa (Aldesa), holds an interest in the Plaza Norte Project located in the famous Reocin mining district in North Spain. The Salobro Project is comprised of two mining applications covering located in the Minas Gerais State of Brazil. The Plaza Norte Project is located in the Reocin Basin which hosts the Reocin mine. The Aznalcollar Project is a past-producing property within the prolific Iberian Pyrite Belt. The Paymogo Project is located in southwestern Spain and geologically is underlain by rocks of the Iberian Pyrite Belt with current and past producers of base metals sulphides.
