Enel Generacion Piura SA, formerly Empresa Electrica de Piura SA (EEPSA,) is a Peru-based company principally engaged in the energy sector. The Company’s activities include the electric power generation, as well as the processing of natural gas. It operates Planta Electrica Malacas, a thermoelectric generation power plant with a total installed capacity of around 130 megawatts (MW). In addition, the Company is a member of Grupo Endesa, a group which comprises a number of Spanish and Latin American entities involved in the generation and distribution of electric power. The main shareholder of the Company is Endesa Latinoamerica SA.
