European Institute of Science AB (EURIS) is a Sweden-based commercial research center. The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, ScienceHouse Lund AB is engaged in the research, development, manufacturing, sales and marketing of medical technology, health care, cosmetics and personal care, biotechnology, energy, education and entertainment products and methods. Additionally, it is engaged in the investment in high-technology companies, as well as in leasing and management of properties. As of December 31, 2011, the Company’s investments and project royalties included LifeAssays AB (publ), Biotech-IgG AB and Implementa Hebe AB (publ). The Company’s products include liquid chromatography equipment for affinity purification of proteins and antibodies, and a range of products obtained from pooled human or animal plasma.
