Gabriel Resources Ltd. (Gabriel) is a Canada-based resource company. The Company operates through the exploration, evaluation and development of precious metal mining projects located in Romania segment. The Company owns equity interest in Rosia Montana Gold Corporation S.A. (RMGC), held by Minvest Rosia Montana S.A. (Minvest RM), a Romanian state-owned mining company. Rosia Montana gold and silver project is an undeveloped gold deposit in Europe, and situated in an area known as the Golden Quadrilateral in the South Apuseni Mountains of Transylvania. It is located immediately northeast of the town of Abrud, approximately 45 kilometers (80 kilometers by road) northwest of the regional capital of Alba Iulia, and 60 kilometers (90 kilometers by road) north-northeast of the city of Deva. The Project is held under exploitation concession license number 47/1999, which covers an area of approximately 23.88 square kilometers.
