Gatron (Industries) Limited is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of polyester filament yarn, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) preforms and other polyester-related products. The principal business of the Company is also engaged in the manufacturing of yarn grade polyester chips. The Company's segments include Polyester Filament Yarn, which consists of the manufacturing of polyester filament yarn and its raw material, and Polyester PET preforms, which consists of the manufacturing of polyester PET preforms and its raw material. The Company also produces other varieties of polyester chips, such as bottle grade, as well as PET preforms. The Company's polyester filament yarn production capacity is 24,191 metric tons per annum. The Company's polyester PET preforms production capacity is 32,677 metric tons per annum. The Company's subsidiaries include Gatro Power (Private) Limited, which is engaged in power generation.
