Vietnam Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Corporation (GELEX) is a Vietnam-based government-owned corporation, which is mainly engaged in the manufacture and commerce of electrical machinery and equipment. Via the operation of various subsidiaries, the Company partakes in the production and trading of electricity and electrical signal measuring equipment, energy wires, switchgear and switchboard apparatuses, power transformers and generators, among others. Other regular business activities of the Company and its subsidiaries include the construction of commercial and institutional buildings, the erection of power transmission lines and related infrastructures, as well as the operation of hotels and colleges.
