Habib Sugar Mills Limited is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of refined sugar, molasses, ethanol, liquidified carbon dioxide (CO2) and household textiles. The Company is also engaged in providing bulk storage facilities and trading of commodities. It operates through four segments: Sugar Division, Distillery Division, Textile Division and Trading Division. The Sugar Division is engaged in manufacturing of refined sugar and molasses. The Sugar Division has a crushing capacity of 7,000 metric tons of sugarcane per day. The Distillery Division manufactures ethanol and liquidified CO2, and provides bulk storage facilities. The Distillery Division has a capacity of producing 142,500 liters of industrial alcohol per day. The Textile Division is engaged in manufacturing of household textiles. The Textile Division manufactures terry towels and bath robes with annual capacity of 300,000 kilograms of finished products. The Trading Division is engaged in trading of commodities.
