Hapugastenne Plantations PLC is an agribusiness plantation company in Sri Lanka. The Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in the cultivation, manufacture and marketing of tea, rubber and forestry products operating at Subaragamuwa and Uva province. The Company's segments include Tea, Rubber and Other. The Company is also engaged in the sale of timber and hydro power. The Company offers tea under Kenmare, Courtlodge, Tommagong, Adawatte and Shawlands names. The Company manages over two rubber estates, such as Hapugastenne Rubber and Bibile, as well as approximately 10 tea and rubber combined estates. The total annual production is over one million kilogram produced from approximately 1,700 hectares. Its subsidiary, Newburgh Green Teas (Private) Limited, is engaged in manufacturing and sale of green tea. Hapugastenne Plantations PLC and Udapussellawa Plantations PLC, collectively known as Finlays Tea Estates Sri Lanka, is a subsidiary of James Finlay Ltd in the United Kingdom.
