HPQ-Silicon Resources Inc., formerly Uragold Bay Resources Inc., is a Canada-based quartz and gold exploration company. The Company is engaged in the exploration and mining operations. Its quartz projects include Drucourt, Galette, Roncevaux, Martinville, Malvina, Bouffard, Turgeon, Broughton, Beaudoin Mine, Bourque Mine, Montpetit Quarry and St-Gedeon. Its quartz projects are located in North Shore, Gaspesie, Eastern Townships, Hemingford and Beauce. The Company, through PyroGenesis, develops PUREVAP Quartz Vaporisation Reactor (PUREVAP QVR), a one step process for reducing quartz to silicon and/or polycrystalline silicon. Its gold projects include Beauce Gold Project and Golden Hope Mines Bellechasse Timmins (BT) Option. The Beauce Gold Project is a gold field located in the municipality of Saint-Simon-les-Mines in the Beauce region of Southern Quebec. This project area hosts a six kilometer long unconsolidated gold bearing sedimentary units.
