Keells Food Products PLC is a food manufacturer in the processed meat industry. The Company's principal activity is the manufacture and sale of processed meats, crumbed products and raw meats. The Company operates through two segments: Manufacturing and Trading. The Company's products include the Keells Sausage Range, which includes chicken sausages, cheesy blast, spicy bites, chicken garlic sausages, and chicken cheese and onion sausages, and the Krest Range, which offers a range of snacks and bites, including ready to fry formed meats, Chinese rolls and French fries (potato chips). The Company also offers the Elephant House Sausage Range, which includes a range of handmade products, including Chicken Sausage, Pork Lingus, Bacon Whopper Sausage and Black Forest. Its products are distributed to consumers through a multichannel network comprising general trade outlets, modern trade outlets, as well as hotels and restaurants. It operates approximately 17,000 retail outlets.
