Korporacja Gospodarcza Efekt SA is a Poland-based holding company primarily engaged in energy sector. The Company is active within two business sectors: commercial and services, as well as hospitality and tourism. In the commercial and services business segment, it offers non-residential rental and lease services, as well as wholesale and retail trade of solid and fluid fuels and building materials. In the hospitality and tourism field, the Company is engaged in managing hotels and restaurants, particularly with regard to urban and business tourism. It also organizes conferences, conventions and special events. As of December 31, 2011, the Company was operational through three wholly owned subsidiaries: Efekt-bis sp. z o.o., Efekt-Hotele SA and Lider Hotel sp. z o.o. As of June 25, 2012, the Company sold its entire stake in Efekt-bis Sp. z o.o.
